Who this applies to
This page applies if you're located in the European Economic Area, the UK, or another region with similar data protection law, and describes how usort meets its obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR.
Data controller
"usort — AI-Powered Link Intelligence" is the data controller for the personal information described in our Privacy Policy.
Registered address: A19, Ground Floor, FIEE Complex,Okhla Phase II, New Delhi 110020.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information. Most account details can be edited directly in your account settings.
- Erasure("right to be forgotten") — ask us to delete your personal information, subject to any legal obligation we have to retain it (for example, billing records).
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your information in certain circumstances.
- Portability — request your data in a structured, commonly-used, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent — where we rely on your consent, withdraw it at any time.
- Lodge a complaint— with your local data protection supervisory authority, if you believe we haven't handled your information properly.
How to exercise your rights
Two of these are available directly in the product today:
- Deactivation — you can deactivate your own account from account settings at any time, which immediately signs out every active session.
- Editing your data — most profile fields can be updated directly.
For everything else — full erasure, a complete export of your personal data, or any other request — email support@usort.xyzwith the subject line "GDPR request" and tell us what you'd like. We'll verify it's really you before acting on the request, and we aim to respond within 30 days, as required by the GDPR.
Legal bases for processing
See the "Legal bases for processing" section of our Privacy Policy for the specific bases we rely on for each kind of processing.
International transfers
usort and its service providers may process personal data in countries other than the country where you live, including countries that may have different data protection laws. Where applicable data protection law requires safeguards for transferring personal data internationally, we will take steps to implement an appropriate transfer mechanism before making such transfers. Depending on the circumstances, this may include Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum, or another legally recognized transfer mechanism. You may contact us at support@usort.xyz to request further information about international transfers and the safeguards applicable to your personal data.
Data we minimize by design
A few things worth calling out because they reduce risk to you directly: we never store the raw IP addresses of people who click your links — only a one-way hash used to count unique visitors — and we resolve visitor location using an offline lookup rather than sending IP addresses to any external service.
